Kate is a CASLPO-registered Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her degree from the University of Toronto in the Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology and a Bachelor degree of Science from York University.
Kate’s clinical experience has gained depth through work in hospitals, clinics, and schools. Kate has extensive experience and knowledge in the area of Autism and passion for autism-focused intervention. As a neurodivergent-affirming therapist, Kate recognizes the unique social communication and sensory needs of autistic children and works collaboratively with families to provide tailored support.
Additionally, Kate has expertise in the areas of articulation training, literacy, receptive and expressive language delay and social communication coaching. Kate’s clinical experience and training have allowed her to develop skills in assessing and treating children and adults with various speech and language disorders.
Dedicated to client-centered care, Kate loves working with children and takes a personalized approach to therapy. She incorporates each child’s interests into treatment, ensuring therapy materials and strategies are adapted to meet individual needs. Kate celebrates the progress and achievements of every child and emphasizes the importance of teamwork by partnering with families, teachers, and other professionals to support speech and communication goals.
Kate is proficient in Polish, in addition to English, and can provide services in both languages.
